Cheesy Ranch Chicken Tender Casserole

This Cheesy Ranch Chicken Tender Casserole screams kid-friendly all over – and we’re not just talking about the little kids.

The crunchy cheesy top paired with the creaminess of the broth/Real Food Ranch dressing/cheese mix that tops the chicken is a delight to your taste-buds. To me, what’s even more delightful is that it takes less than 15 minutes to prep, 30-40 minutes to cook — meaning this can be made in less than an hour. If you wanted to, you could even prep everything other than the topping so it’s ready to pop into the oven when you get home from work.

We suggest pairing this meal with our Cheesy Ranch Broccoli and Cauliflower Casserole or simple steamed vegetables.

Real Food Ranch Dressing

Chicken Casserole

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (sub gluten-free, if needed)
  • 1/4 cup organic mild shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 Tbsp organic olive oil

Make Real Food Ranch dressing by combining sour cream and Real Food Ranch seasoning in a small bowl. Place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before using. Note: This can also be made the night before so it’s ready for the next day.

2 hours later or next day

Preheat oven to 350 degrees; prepare 9×13 baking dish with coconut oil or non-stick oil of choice; set aside.

Take Real Food Ranch Dressing out of refrigerator and combine with the chicken stock and mild shredded cheddar cheese, mix well.

Lay chicken tenders in greased baking dish, salt and pepper both sides. Spread the Real Food Ranch Dressing mix over the seasoned chicken tenders.

For the topping: Combine panko breadcrumbs, mild shredded cheddar cheese, and olive oil in a small bowl.

After topping is mixed, spread it over the Real Food Ranch Dressing and chicken tenders.

Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes or until chicken is cooked. Chicken should reach 165 degrees internal temperature.
